Kavaliro's client is seeking an innovative Director of Technology Programs in Leesburg, FL to spearhead the development, implementation, and promotion of their Computer Science and Cybersecurity program. This role will collaborate closely with the Associate Dean of Workforce to oversee faculty, coordinate courses, and ensure program excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology, along with a passion for education and a dedication to meeting industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the Computer Science and Cybersecurity program, ensuring its alignment with industry trends and student needs. Faculty Supervision and Development: Assist in supervising faculty, coordinating courses, and facilitating adjunct faculty orientation to maintain program quality and effectiveness.

Curriculum Coordination: Recommend courses, instructors, and curriculum updates to optimize student learning outcomes and program success. Compliance with Educational Standards: Ensure the program meets accreditation requirements and regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines. Teaching Responsibilities: May be required to teach up to 9 credit hours per semester, delivering engaging and effective instruction in technology-related subjects.

Expertise in Technology: Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience in computer hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and related technologies. Proficiency in Programming Languages: Possess experience with programming languages such as Python, C+, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL, with a preference for candidates with proficiency in these areas. Online Course Development: Experience with online course development and delivery is preferred, leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in a teaching discipline. Demonstrated experience in program development, leadership, and supervision within the technology education sector. Strong understanding of computer science, cybersecurity, and related technology concepts.

Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with online course development tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills. Dedication to promoting student success, program excellence, and continuous improvement.
